Working at a startup is not just a job, it is a journey full of challenges, growth and constant discoveries. Here I share with you the five fundamental lessons that the startup universe gave me, transforming my perspective and enriching my professional career.
Flexibility and agility:
In the startup world, the only constant is change. I learned to break with pre-established structures and flow with changing demands. Adaptability became a vital skill to overcome contingencies and evolve with agility.
Resilience in the daily battle:
Startups are constant battlefields, full of challenges and obstacles. The most important lesson: resilience. Every setback became an opportunity to get up and fight with determination, an essential ingredient in this ecosystem.
Measure to evaluate:
In the startup universe, measurement is the compass of success. Each action must be quantifiable to evaluate its impact and effectiveness. This mentality of constant measurement becomes the key tool to adjust strategies and optimize results.
Continuous learning:
Learning is an endless journey. In this dynamic context, I discovered that I still had many learnings ahead of me. The key is to constantly stay updated, absorb new ideas and adapt to the constant evolution of the environment.
Efficient resource management:
Maximizing results with limited resources becomes an art in startups. Efficient resource management becomes essential to face financial challenges and achieve a significant impact with what is available.
Personally, I believe that everyone should immerse themselves in the experience of working at a startup at least once in their life. For me, it has been a challenging and motivating ecosystem that has shaped my work perspective in an invaluable way.
